Brigitte Portocarrero
My name is Brigitte, I'm Argentinian, a lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Spanish teacher certified by the Instituto Cervantes. I also studied Portuguese at Casa do Brasil (Buenos Aires). I am a teacher and founder of Escola Buenos Aires. I have lived in Brazil for three years.
I offer Spanish classes for teenagers and adults at the basic, intermediate, advanced levels and business classes, for trips and DELE/SIELE preparation. Classes are customized according to the specific objective of the student. In addition, I offer conversation classes for those who know the language but have difficulty speaking.
I identified many Spanish students with communication difficulties. Many of them have extensive vocabulary and a good knowledge of grammar, but have difficulty expressing themselves. For that, I created and perfected an exclusive conversation course that allows the student to unlock the language. I was able to apply this technique with several Brazilian, Argentine and North American students who have evolved a lot with the techniques used by me.
During my training at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, I was able to teach the Spanish language to Brazilians who went to Argentina to study at this university. Dozens of Brazilian students enroll in this faculty annually, seeking to study Medicine and other careers, even though they have rudimentary knowledge of the language. I offered support classes to these students who developed and in a short time were able to master the language and continue advancing in their university career.
